Burundi-Algeria: beIN Sports 2 to show CAN 2027 qualifier

Algeria’s second match in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign will be broadcast live on beIN Sports 2. The fixture will also be available online through the broadcaster’s beIN Connect streaming platform, giving viewers two official ways to follow the Group-stage meeting.

Burundi will host Algeria on Tuesday at 15:00 at Stade Intwari in Bujumbura. The Fennecs arrive after starting their campaign with a 3-1 victory over Zambia, while the Burundians lost their opening match 1-0 to Togo. Algeria can therefore build on its first result, while Burundi will be aiming to collect its first points of the qualifying phase.

The match is Algeria’s second and final fixture during this international window. It also represents another step in the team’s new coaching era, with Brahim Hemdani replacing Vladimir Petkovic as head coach. Hemdani is assisted by former Marseille midfielder Moussa Saib. Their first match brought a win over Zambia, and the trip to Burundi offers Algeria an opportunity to continue that start and strengthen its position in the group.
