FC Barcelona host Rayo Vallecano in Monday Liga game

Barcelona will look to remain at the top of La Liga when Rayo Vallecano visit Camp Nou on Monday. Hansi Flick’s side have started the campaign strongly and are seeking to build on their position alongside Real Madrid, while defending their league title remains the wider objective.

The Catalan club beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in the previous round, with Raphinha and Fermin Lopez providing the decisive contributions. Rayo, meanwhile, drew 1-1 with Deportivo Alaves. Sergio Camello put Vallecas ahead in the 48th minute, but the advantage did not last. The result leaves Rayo needing greater defensive discipline against Barcelona’s attack if they are to take anything from the visit.

The match is scheduled for Monday, 31 August, at 21:30 at Camp Nou. It will be available live and via streaming on DAZN and Disney+. DAZN’s standard subscription is listed at €10.99 per month with a commitment, while a DAZN and Ligue 1+ package costs €14.99 monthly for three months before rising to €22.99 under a one-year commitment. Disney+ also carries the game through its plans priced at €6.99 with advertising, €10.99 for the standard option and €15.99 for premium.
