Gessime Yassine marks two milestones at Strasbourg
Gessime Yassine has joined Strasbourg from Dunkerque and now carries a €12 million market valuation at the club.
Gessime Yassine has two reasons to celebrate as he begins his Strasbourg chapter. The 20-year-old right winger has joined RC Strasbourg Alsace from USL Dunkerque, while his current market value at the French club stands at €12 million. The move places him at a new stage of his development and gives added weight to his progress since youth football.
Strasbourg secured Yassine from Dunkerque during the 2025/26 season in a transfer valued at €7 million. He is listed as a player of Moroccan and French citizenship, and his arrival adds a young winger with a clearly defined position to the Strasbourg squad. His market valuation is now €5 million higher than the fee recorded for his move from Dunkerque.
Yassine’s path to the transfer has been built through a series of moves in French football. He joined Dunkerque from Marignane G U19 in the 2023/24 season. Before that, he had moved from Istres FC U19 to Marignane G U19 during the same season. His earlier progression came at Istres, where he advanced from the club’s under-17 team to its under-19 side in 2022/23.
The Strasbourg switch is therefore the latest step in a route that began with Istres FC’s youth teams, continued through Marignane G U19 and led to Dunkerque before the €7 million transfer. At 20, Yassine now has a place at RC Strasbourg Alsace and a €12 million valuation attached to his current profile. Those two developments explain the significance of his moment: a major club move and a strong assessment of his value at the beginning of his Strasbourg spell.
