NBA Paris games to stay at Accor Arena in 2027 and 2028

Paris will retain its NBA games at Accor Arena, with San Antonio and New Orleans confirmed for January 2027.

Paris will remain the NBA’s French home for its next two scheduled visits, with the league choosing Accor Arena for games in 2027 and 2028. The decision keeps the events in the venue commonly known as Bercy rather than moving them to one of France’s newer, larger arenas.

The 2027 game is set for 14 January and will feature the San Antonio Spurs against the New Orleans Pelicans. The teams will meet again three days later in Manchester. The franchises planned for the 2028 Paris game have not yet been announced, although Berlin is due to host the second game in that European sequence.

Accor Arena has hosted every regular-season NBA game played in Paris. Charlotte faced Milwaukee in January 2020, followed by Chicago against Detroit in 2023 and Brooklyn against Cleveland in 2024. The 2025 NBA Global Games added two Paris fixtures involving San Antonio, including Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs, and drew heightened attention.

The venue’s continued selection reinforces its place in French basketball. It has sold out each previous NBA visit despite the absence of consistently headline franchises. A larger alternative exists at La Défense in the Plenitude Arena, which can hold up to 30,000 spectators, while Lyon’s LDLC Arena and Orléans’ CO’Met Arena were also not chosen.
