RC Strasbourg make Hünkar major sponsor until 2029

RC Strasbourg have elevated Hünkar to major-sponsor status, securing the food brand’s presence on the first-team match shirt through 2029. The agreement strengthens a commercial relationship that began earlier this year and gives Hünkar a more prominent role alongside the Alsatian club.

Hünkar initially joined Racing as an official sponsor in January 2026 under an agreement that was due to run until 2028. The revised deal adds one season and places the brand on the team’s playing kit. The partnership will therefore continue across the 2026-27, 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons.

Hünkar is the brand of Sorgel Distribution, a frozen-food company founded in 2010 and based in Goxwiller. The company launched the Hünkar name in 2016, meaning the brand reaches its 10th anniversary this year. Its stronger association with Strasbourg comes as the business marks that milestone.

The arrangement brings together two organisations with Alsatian roots and a stated aim of expanding the region’s profile beyond its borders. For Sorgel, the shirt placement represents a significant step in its development, while Racing have described the upgraded commitment as evidence of growing trust and a shared ambition to progress together.
