Sevilla FC vs Atlético Madrid set for August 29 LaLiga

Sevilla FC will welcome Atlético Madrid for a LaLiga meeting on Saturday, August 29, with the result carrying early-season importance for Diego Simeone’s side. The match is scheduled for 21:30 at the Sánchez Pizjuán and will be available live on DAZN and Disney+.

Atlético currently sit sixth with four points from two league matches. Their record is one win, one draw and no defeats, with four goals scored and two conceded. A positive result in Seville would strengthen their position near the top of the early table, while a setback could leave them vulnerable to movement down the standings as the opening weeks continue.

Their wider recent form has been uneven. Atlético lost 1-5 away to Villarreal, then beat Girona 1-0 and Osasuna 2-1 before suffering a 0-1 home defeat against Celta de Vigo. Their latest listed result was another 0-1 loss, away to Arsenal. The league record, however, gives them an unbeaten start after two fixtures.

The game therefore brings Sevilla’s home advantage together with an Atlético team seeking greater consistency. Kick-off is set for 21:30, with both DAZN and Disney+ carrying the live broadcast.
