Dijon Stay Perfect, Bourg-en-Bresse Claim First Win

Dijon have joined Roanne at the top of the Betclic Elite standings after making it two wins from two, while Bourg-en-Bresse finally secured its first victory of the 2026-27 campaign. The results give Dijon early momentum and provide Bourg with a response after a difficult opening week.

The JDA followed their success against Strasbourg by beating Pau-Lacq-Orthez 89-61. Dijon led by five points after the first quarter and built a 44-33 advantage by halftime. The visitors then stretched the gap beyond 20 points and went as far ahead as 34 before managing the closing stages. Elwin Ndjock scored 21 points, while Justin Bibbins added 18 points and 10 assists. Dijon now share first place with Roanne, who defeated Nanterre 93-83.

Bourg-en-Bresse responded to league defeat at Saint-Quentin and a EuroCup loss in Naples by overcoming Chalon-sur-Saône 90-77. A decisive 17-2 run late in the opening quarter put the hosts in control, and they led by 24 points at the interval. Chalon reduced the deficit after the break but never came within 15 points, before Bourg restored a 24-point margin in the final quarter. Grant Golden led Chalon with 16 points, but the visitors could not follow up their previous win over Limoges.
