Antoine Dupont left out of Top 14 supporters' XV

Antoine Dupont misses the supporters’ team of the 2025-26 Top 14 despite Toulouse winning the French title.

Antoine Dupont has been left out of the Top 14 supporters’ team for 2025-26, with Bordeaux-Bègles scrum-half Maxime Lucu preferred at number nine. The decision denies the Toulouse captain a place in the XV selected by internet users, despite his standing among the leading players in his position and his club’s championship success.

Toulouse, crowned French champions, supply five players. Julien Marchand is chosen at hooker, Thibaud Flament and Emmanuel Meafou in the second row, and Jack Willis in the back row, while Thomas Ramos takes the full-back position. Bordeaux-Bègles also have five representatives, even though they did not reach the Top 14 finals. Their selections are Lucu, fly-half Mathieu Jalibert, wing Louis Bielle-Biarrey, prop Ben Tameifuna and back-rower Marko Gazzotti. The club’s Champions Cup triumph appears to have influenced the vote.

Racing 92 and Stade Français Paris, both beaten semi-finalists, have no players in the supporters’ XV. Montpellier, defeated 28-20 by Toulouse in the final, is represented only by captain Lenni Nouchi, selected in the back row. Toulon’s Jean-Baptiste Gros is the other non-finalist included, at prop. Pau has three places through Fabien Brau-Boirie and Émilien Gailleton in the centres and Théo Attisogbe on the wing.
