AS Justice retains Bogandé Vacances Sport crown

AS Justice beat FC Jeunes Talents on penalties to defend its title at the third Bogandé Vacances Culture et Sport.

AS Justice has retained its place at the top of the Bogandé Vacances Culture et Sport tournament, securing a second consecutive championship in the competition’s third edition. The result extends the club’s run as the event’s only back-to-back winner.

The Bogandé side overcame FC Jeunes Talents in the final on Sunday, 6 September 2026, at the town’s communal ground. The match remained undecided through regulation time before AS Justice prevailed in the penalty shootout. The final brought a month-long maracana tournament to a close, with teams made up of young people from different professional and community sectors in Bogandé.

The competition combined sport with a youth gathering centred on fraternity and social cohesion. The provincial secretary-general, Mendien dit Moussa Soma, Bogandé’s special delegation president Taugolo Paré, and military and paramilitary authorities attended the final alongside other guests.

AS Justice and FC Jeunes Talents each received sets of jerseys, a football and cash prizes. The third- and fourth-placed teams were given cash awards and balls, while the other participating teams received balls as encouragement. Individual awards also recognised standout performances during the tournament. Organisers and local representatives called for the event to continue as a space for peace, togetherness and youth participation in Bogandé.
