Barcelona tracks Dortmund prospect Justin Ejodamen

Barcelona are monitoring 15-year-old Dortmund midfielder Justin Ejodamen, also followed by Juventus and Milan.

Barcelona have begun closely monitoring Borussia Dortmund midfielder Justin Ejodamen, but any international move must wait until the teenager turns 16. The Catalan club is assessing his development before deciding whether to pursue the interest further.

Ejodamen, who is 15, has already attracted attention through his performances for Dortmund’s youth teams and Italy Under-16s. He was born to Nigerian parents and is also eligible to represent Germany. His game combines high energy in midfield with technical ability, control in possession and the capacity to move forward and score. One of his goals, struck from the halfway line, has gained wide attention online.

Barcelona are not the only major club tracking his progress. Juventus and AC Milan are also understood to be following the midfielder, increasing the competition around one of Dortmund’s promising young players. For now, Barça’s approach is focused on observation rather than an immediate deal because regulations prevent this type of international transfer before a community player reaches 16.

The interest also marks a change in the recent pattern between the clubs. Dortmund have frequently monitored young players developed by Barcelona, while relations between the two sporting administrations remain positive after Karim Adeyemi moved to the Catalan club a few months ago.
