Clayton Diandy assists as Al Diriyah beat Al-Ettifaq

Al Diriyah secured a convincing away victory in the Saudi Pro League, with Clayton Diandy contributing an assist in the 3-0 win over Al-Ettifaq. The result gives the promoted side three points from its fourth-round fixture and leaves its opponents without a goal in the match.

Darwin Núñez put Al Diriyah ahead in the eighth minute before Boulbina doubled the advantage eight minutes after half-time. Núñez completed the scoring in the 81st minute, converting his second goal of the game after Diandy created the opportunity.

Diandy’s contribution came late in a match that Al Diriyah had controlled on the scoreboard. His assist added an attacking highlight to the team’s most emphatic result of the fixture, while Núñez’s brace provided the main difference between the sides. Al-Ettifaq were unable to respond after conceding early and then fell further behind after the interval.

The victory marks an important result for Al Diriyah as it continues its first Saudi Pro League campaign. The team’s three-goal margin also gives the win added weight, with the visitors finishing the contest without conceding.
