England face Czechia in Nations League on Tuesday

England will look to strengthen their Nations League campaign when they meet Czechia on Tuesday, after showing attacking promise but losing 3-2 to Spain in their previous international. Thomas Tuchel’s team remain among the leading sides in the competition, while Czechia will aim to improve on their earlier defeat by the Three Lions.

England won the previous meeting 2-0, with Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane scoring. The result gives Tuchel’s side a favourable recent reference before the return fixture, although the manager is considering changes during a demanding international window that includes four matches. England are also preparing for a later trip to Croatia and another meeting with Czechia.

Kane, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Gordon are included among England’s expected starters, with Jordan Pickford’s replacement Trafford listed in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Marc Guehi and Lewis Hall are also named in the possible defence, while Anderson features in midfield. Czechia’s projected side includes goalkeeper Hornicek, defenders Hranac, Chaloupek and Slama, midfielders Sadilek and Cerv, and forwards Adam Hlozek and Radosta.

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45. The Nations League fixture will be streamed on L’Équipe Live Foot.
