
Éric Olhats faces fresh testimony after 2025 conviction
New accounts detail allegations against Griezmann’s former mentor, sentenced to six years for assaults on minors.
Fresh testimony has added to the case against Éric Olhats, the former football recruiter and mentor linked to Antoine Griezmann’s early development. Olhats was sentenced to six years in prison in November 2025 for sexual assaults against underage players committed between 1997 and 2022.
The accounts appear in *Dans la gueule du loup*, an investigation by Thomas Rabino and Fabien Touati published on September 30. One witness, identified under the name Olivier, alleges that he was drugged several times while staying at Olhats’s home. He also says he saw Olhats preparing a Coca-Cola beside a container holding a white powder that was described as a recovery aid.
Olivier further alleges that he awoke during a sexual act and describes massages extending high up his thighs, as well as occasions when Olhats watched him bathe. Another former minor, identified as Jordan, recalls losing his memory after a drink and a massage in 2006 before experiencing severe pain.
Jordan’s complaint was later dismissed, while Olhats denied using chemical substances during questioning. A search of his safe nevertheless uncovered 443 Temesta tablets. Olhats was the recruiter who discovered and accommodated Griezmann when the France international was at Real Sociedad’s academy.
