Ezequiel Lavezzi raises concern after public appearance

Ezequiel Lavezzi’s visible trembling during an interview has prompted concern, with its cause still not officially known.

Ezequiel Lavezzi has prompted widespread concern after appearing visibly unwell during a rare public outing. The former Argentina international attended Inter Milan’s meeting with Napoli at San Siro last weekend before speaking to an Italian media outlet. During that interview, his arms and legs shook repeatedly, drawing immediate attention to his condition.

The reason for the trembling has not been established publicly. A video of the interview was later posted on social media, where supporters of Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain expressed their support for the former forward. Lavezzi won 51 caps for Argentina and remains closely associated with both clubs after his years in Naples and Paris.

The appearance also revived concern linked to events in late 2023. Lavezzi was hospitalised in Uruguay in December after a domestic accident, then admitted to a clinic in Buenos Aires several weeks later. Reports at the time included speculation about an overdose, but his son rejected that claim. The former player was also betrayed by a close friend.

Lavezzi, who represented Paris Saint-Germain from 2012 to 2016, later moved to Hebei China Fortune and became one of the world’s highest-paid players at that time. His current health situation remains unclear.
