Fabien Brau-Boirie extends Pau contract through 2030

Fabien Brau-Boirie has committed his future to Pau, extending his contract with the Top 14 club through June 2030. The deal also includes an option for an additional season, keeping the France centre in Béarn beyond the agreement that had been due to expire in June 2028.

Brau-Boirie, 20, joined Pau’s academy in 2023 after beginning his development in Bigorre. The Narbonne-born player made his senior debut for the club in November 2024 and has since played 41 matches, scoring 14 tries. He has also earned five France caps and scored once for the national team.

His decision strengthens Pau’s long-term plan around its French prospects. The club has moved from 12th in the Top 14 in 2023 to ninth in 2024 and eighth in 2025, before finishing fourth and reaching the play-offs last season. Brau-Boirie has linked his renewal to that progress, saying the club’s development, ambitions and environment convinced him that Pau can remain near the top of the table and pursue bigger goals.

Manager Sébastien Piqueronies presented the agreement as evidence of the pathway available to young local talent. He also identified the shared objective of helping Brau-Boirie fulfil his potential with Pau and continue progressing with France. The centre joins Emilien Gailleton, Hugo Auradou, Théo Attissogbe and Jimi Maximin among the club’s internationals tied down for the longer term.
