Laure Boulleau to present Canal+ documentary on football violence

Laure Boulleau is taking on a new role at Canal+ with a documentary focused on violence in football. The programme is due to be released in October and will accompany the launch of her association dedicated to combating the issue.

The former France international and Paris Saint-Germain player announced the project during Canal+’s season presentation. At 38, Boulleau remains a prominent member of the channel’s sports coverage, appearing on the Canal Champions Club and Canal Football Club, as well as serving on the jury of Au Micro.

The documentary will examine violence from several angles. Boulleau plans to meet people responsible for violent incidents and those working to address them, with the aim of identifying the problem and highlighting proposed solutions. She has described the subject as a personal commitment after spending most of her life in football.

The project expands her work away from the studio. Boulleau previously created 24 Heures de Boulleau, a series built around a day spent inside a club or national team. She has also appeared in episodes of Les Nouveaux explorateurs, meeting prominent women in countries including Japan and Brazil.
