Loïs Openda says settling into OL has been straightforward

Loïs Openda believes his move to Lyon has given him a smooth start as he prepares for a decisive Champions League qualifying night. The Belgium international says he has quickly found his place at OL and is now focused on improving his contribution in the club’s colours.

Openda joined Lyon this summer and has already appeared in two matches. He considers those performances satisfactory but feels he can raise his level. His goal in the first leg against Fenerbahçe, which ended 1-1 in Turkey, has provided confidence, particularly because scoring is central to the role of a number nine. He now wants to continue finding the net.
