Michael Olise set for Bayern stay as club plans new deal

Bayern Munich are making Michael Olise’s long-term future a priority, with the club preparing a major salary increase to discourage interest from Real Madrid and leading English clubs. The French international’s expected summer transfer saga has not developed, and Bayern’s plans point instead to a central role for him in the years ahead.

Olise scored 22 goals and supplied 31 assists in 52 matches last season, establishing himself as one of the key players in the German champions’ squad. He is already tied to Bayern until June 2029, but the club wants to strengthen that commitment with a new financial package.

The proposed rise could take Olise’s monthly earnings from slightly above €1 million to roughly €2.1 million. That would place him at the top of Bayern’s wage structure, ahead of established figures such as Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, both understood to be on about €2.1 million per month, as well as Manuel Neuer at around €1.75 million.

Olise joined Bayern two years ago and has quickly become a strategic asset rather than a player the club is willing to consider selling. By preparing to make him its highest-paid player, Bayern is signalling that its leading performers are not available, regardless of outside interest.
