Pascal Lopy and Babacar Gningue join KF Oriku

KF Oriku have added two Senegalese players to their squad for the new season, with forward Vincent Pascal Lopy and midfielder Babacar Gningue joining the Albanian club. Their arrivals take both players into a new stage of their careers after spells in Senegal.

Lopy previously played for Diambars before leaving the country for Albania. He has agreed a three-year contract with KF Oriku, giving the forward a defined period at the club as he begins his career abroad. The move is his first listed step away from Senegal after his time with Diambars.

Gningue arrives with recent experience at two Senegalese clubs. He played for Guédiawaye FC in 2024 and later continued his career with Avenir Dakar before completing his move to Oriku. The midfielder’s transfer has been confirmed, but KF Oriku have not disclosed the duration of his contract.

The two signings give Oriku a Senegalese forward and midfielder ahead of the new campaign. Lopy’s agreement is set to run for three seasons, while the terms of Gningue’s deal remain unknown. Both players now leave Senegal’s domestic football scene to continue their careers in Albania, with Oriku confirming their inclusion in the squad for the coming season.
