Tapha Tine has revived his verbal dispute with Modou Lô, answering remarks that had remained with him since their previous confrontation. The Baol Mbollo leader used a television appearance to address the former king of the arenas and to explain his position during Modou Lô’s recent contest with Sa Thiès.

Tine said he and Modou Lô now belong to separate camps, but he nevertheless took a clear position in that bout. He supported Sa Thiès and said he wanted the younger wrestler to win, stressing that he was acting as a fan rather than as a competitor. Tine has now reversed the image, arguing that Modou Lô was ultimately the one who ended up in that position.
