Claude Le Roy targets Cameroon win as Congo seek rebound

Claude Le Roy has made beating Cameroon Congo’s immediate objective as the team tries to recover from its opening defeat in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign. The coach expects his players to produce a major result against the Indomitable Lions on Tuesday.

The match is the second round of Group G, where Congo must respond after losing to Namibia. Le Roy highlighted the gap between the two teams’ rankings, with Cameroon eighth and Congo 39th.
