Betis won 3-2 in Lille, where Ethan Mbappe was sent off in the 56th minute. The 19-year-old midfielder received a direct red card after a VAR review of his challenge on Natan. Betis used the dismissal as the latest reference point in its teasing message about the Mbappe family.

The post followed another setback involving Kylian Mbappe only days earlier. Real Madrid lost 1-0 at Betis in Andalusia, with the French forward seeing his penalty saved by goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.
