Senegal to learn 2026 Africa Beach Soccer Cup opponents

Senegal will discover its opponents on Tuesday before defending the African beach soccer title at home in November.

Senegal’s defence of its African beach soccer crown will begin to take shape on Tuesday, when the reigning champions discover their opponents for the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations. The draw will establish the group-stage route for a team seeking another title on home territory.

The tournament is scheduled for 21 to 29 November in Senegal. The ceremony will take place at the Confederation of African Football headquarters in Cairo, where the teams will be placed for the next edition. Senegal enters the competition as the holders and as eight-time African champions, giving the draw particular importance for the continent’s most successful side in the event.

Mamadou Saybani Diallo will also feature in the ceremony. The former Senegal international and former national-team coach has been invited by CAF to assist with the draw. His role will place a familiar figure from Senegal’s beach soccer history at the event where the defending champions’ path is decided.

The tournament will then return to Senegal from 21 November, with the hosts aiming to retain the trophy in front of a home audience. Tuesday’s draw will reveal the opponents standing between them and another continental title.
