European Top Scorers 2026/27: Raphinha Leads Mbappe and Haaland

Raphinha remains Europe’s leading scorer with 12 goals, while Mbappe, Haaland and Yamal close the gap after another busy weekend.

Raphinha remains at the top of the European top scorers ranking after the fifth review of the 2026/27 season. The Barcelona forward has scored 12 goals in eight league appearances across the competition covering Germany, England, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Turkey. He returned from injury against Real Betis but came off the bench in Barcelona’s 5-2 win and did not add to his total.

The Brazilian’s lead is now three goals over Kylian Mbappe, who has moved into second place. The Real Madrid forward has nine goals in nine La Liga matches after scoring twice in Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Sevilla. His latest brace lifted him above the group of players on eight goals and strengthened his position as the closest challenger to Raphinha.

Erling Haaland completes the top three with eight goals in seven matches. The Manchester City striker scored twice in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Ipswich Town, maintaining the scoring rate that has kept him among the leading European finishers. Haaland has played one match fewer than Mbappe while matching the total of several players directly below him.

Vangelis Pavlidis drops out of the top three despite also having eight goals. The Benfica striker has eight in eight league games, but his club did not play during the weekend. Benfica’s next league fixture is scheduled for Monday against Santa Clara, giving Pavlidis the next opportunity to respond to the latest movement at the top of the list.

Lamine Yamal rises to fifth after scoring in Barcelona’s 5-2 victory over Real Betis. The teenage winger now has eight goals in nine matches, placing him level with Haaland and Pavlidis on goals but behind them on the ranking. His latest goal also means Barcelona have two players among the leading five, with Raphinha still holding a four-goal advantage over his team-mate.

Sergio Camello remains sixth with seven goals in seven matches. His fixture against Athletic Bilbao was interrupted, leaving his total unchanged. Esteban Lepaul occupies seventh with the same record of seven goals in seven games after scoring a hat-trick from penalties in a 4-3 defeat by Paris FC. The result gave Lepaul a personal scoring landmark even though his team lost the match.

Mohamed Salah is eighth on seven goals in seven matches ahead of his scheduled meeting with Besiktas at 19:00. Antonio Raimondo has moved into ninth after scoring a hat-trick for Frosinone in Friday’s 4-2 victory over Sassuolo. Vedat Muriqi completes the top 10 with seven goals in eight matches after scoring in Mallorca’s 3-0 win over Alanyaspor. The bottom half of the leading group is therefore separated mainly by matches played rather than by goals.

Five players are immediately outside the top 10 on seven goals: Racing Santander’s Yassir Zabiri, Osasuna’s Ante Budimir, Sporting CP’s Luis Suarez, Amedspor’s Gift Orban and Basaksehir’s Eldor Shomurodov. A further group of 14 players has six goals. It includes Niclas Fullkrug of Werder Bremen, Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen, Donyell Malen of Roma, Soren Tengstedt and Thom van Bergen of the Netherlands, Nacho of Feyenoord, Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray, Milan Zonneveld of Sparta Rotterdam, Julian Brandt of Ajax, Brynjolfur Willumsson of Groningen, Lassine Sinayoko of Paris FC, Rafiu Durosinmi of Genk, Dusan Vlahovic of Besiktas and Roberto Fernandez Jaen of Espanyol. The race will next be shaped by Salah’s game against Besiktas, Benfica’s return against Santa Clara and the continued involvement of the leading Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City scorers.
