FECOFA calls extraordinary assembly for September 26

The Congolese federation will review key regulations and hold elections during its September 26 online meeting.

FECOFA will use an extraordinary general assembly to revise the framework governing Congolese football and renew officials in several of its bodies. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10 a.m., and will take place by videoconference on Zoom.

Members are expected to examine and adopt the federation’s general and sporting regulations, alongside its disciplinary code. These texts set the rules for organising and managing football activities under FECOFA, making their approval a central part of the session’s agenda.

The assembly will also hold elections for the Audit and Compliance Commission. Delegates will choose its president, vice-presidents and other members. Voting is also planned for several jurisdictional bodies within the federation. FECOFA’s secretary general, Laëtitia Muderhwa, set out the arrangements in correspondence dated September 15.

Each member must send the General Secretariat the identity of its delegate or delegates, together with their telephone numbers and email addresses. The requested details must reach the federation by 3 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, ahead of the online meeting.
