Loredana Zefi taunts Real Madrid after Adeyemi goal

Loredana Zefi has intensified the rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona after celebrating Karim Adeyemi’s latest contribution for the Catalan club with a pointed message aimed at their Madrid rivals. The rapper and Adeyemi’s partner posted “140 million” on social media, a reference to Real’s major summer investment in Yan Diomandé.

Adeyemi had just scored a fine goal in Barcelona’s 4-2 victory away to Levante in the fifth round of La Liga. The Germany international came on from the bench and made an immediate impact, adding to the attention surrounding his start at the club.

Barcelona signed Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund for €20 million during the summer. Real Madrid paid €140 million to bring Diomandé from RB Leipzig, a fee seven times higher than Barcelona’s outlay for Adeyemi.

The comparison has gained weight because Diomandé has yet to persuade in his early appearances for Real. The Ivory Coast international made his first start last weekend after five previous matches, while Adeyemi’s goal gave Zefi an opportunity to contrast the two arrivals publicly.
