Senegal end Dubai camp with 8-1 beach soccer win

Senegal completed their Dubai camp with a second consecutive victory over the United Arab Emirates, ending their preparation programme on a strong note ahead of the 2026 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations. The tournament will be hosted by Senegal, giving the national team a major target for its ongoing work.

The Lions won 8-1 on Friday in their second friendly against the UAE. They had already taken the first match 4-2, meaning Senegal finished the two-game series with two victories and 12 goals scored. The latest result also produced a much wider margin than the opening meeting.

Ninou Diatta and Mandione Diagne led the scoring with two goals each. Mamadou Sylla, Pape Sidy Fall, Sanou Laye and Mame Sarr Thioune completed the Senegalese scoring, with each player finding the net once. The UAE scored one goal in reply.

The result brings the Dubai stage to a close and gives Senegal a clean sweep from its two friendlies there. Both matches formed part of the team’s preparation for the next Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, which will take place in Senegal in 2026. The second win, built on eight goals and a six-goal difference, provided the camp’s most decisive finish.
