Sokh and Fils de Balla booked for April 4, 2027

Sokh will return to Senegal’s wrestling arena on April 4, 2027, when he faces Fils de Balla in a bout confirmed by Albourakh Events. The contest adds another major pairing to the promoter’s programme, which already includes the meeting between Ama Baldé and Lac de Guiers 2 on the same date.

For Fils de Balla, the bout comes as he attempts to recover from his most recent setback. The École de Lutte Balla Gaye wrestler lost to Thiatou Yoff in February 2026, in a contest staged during an Albourakh Events event. A victory over Sokh would give him a chance to change the direction of his recent results.

Sokh, who represents the Xam Sa Cossan stable, will be competing for the first time in more than three years. His long absence makes the April meeting a return to competition as he seeks to resume his career with a win.

The two wrestlers therefore approach the fight from different circumstances but with the same immediate objective. Fils de Balla needs a response after his defeat, while Sokh must re-establish himself after spending several years away from the arena. Their encounter will be one of the featured bouts on the April 4 programme.
